Summer Jam features four Monday evening concerts at Earl Bales Park, showcasing an exciting mix of Jewish roots music alongside rock and tribute bands in a fun, family-friendly outdoor setting.
The celebration continues with the 15th Biennial Ashkenaz Festival, running August 30 through September 6, at venues across Toronto, including Kensington Market, Lula Lounge, a midtown Shul Crawl and TWO beloved Ashkenaz Parades through Kensington Market and North York. The Festival culminates over Labour Day Weekend with major outdoor events at Earl Bales Park (Sept 5) and Honey & Barry Park (Sept 6), featuring an extraordinary line up of world-renowned artists, multicultural programming, and unforgettable performances celebrating global Jewish music, arts, and culture.
Summer Jam and Ashkenaz Festival depend on the skills and energy of a diverse and committed group of volunteers. Whether you’re an Ashkenaz die-hard or it’s your first time at our events, there is a volunteer contribution that you can certainly make! We hope that whatever your age and stage, you will consider joining our fun and rewarding volunteer team. It is also a great opportunity for high school students to fulfill their volunteer hour requirements.
