Participatory Yiddish dancing on the lawn at Harbourfront Centre is a time-honoured Ashkenaz tradition going back to our very first festival in 1995. This year’s Theodore Bikel Artist-in-Residence, Sasha Lurje, will lead participants in the steps for horas, freylekhs, bulgars and more, with music by an all-star ensemble of local and international klezmorim, including Craig Judelman, Ariane Morin, Beth Silver, Lorie Wolf and Bret Higgins.
