On the eve of Holocaust Remembrance Day, we reflect on the Jewish family, how it was fractured, transformed, and reimagined during the Holocaust, and how those experiences shape Jewish continuity today. This dynamic commemoration brings community together through survivor testimony, music, and a meaningful candle lighting ceremony. Co-presented with the Toronto Holocaust Museum and multiple other community organization’s, this year’s annual Yom Hashoah commemoration will affirm the importance of honouring the past, present, and future and demonstrating our shared commitment to the legacy of the Holocaust.
Co-presented with Toronto Holocaust Museum, the Azrieli Foundation’s Holocaust Survivor Memoirs Program, Canadian Society for Yad Vashem, Facing History & Ourselves, Friends of Simon Wiesenthal Center, March of the Living Canada, and the Ontario Jewish Archives. Presented with the generous support of Kultura Collective.
