The self-proclaimed “Prince of Kosher Gospel,” Joshua Nelson is a Black Jew who combines African-American spiritual styles with Jewish liturgical music. Frequently compared to the legendary Mahalia Jackson, Nelson’s muscular voice and commanding stage presence have made him a festival favourite across North America and far beyond.
